John Splithoff’s music melds classic soul, an irresistible pop vibe, and modern production. He came out of Chicago’s vibrant songwriting scene and then headed for New York, releasing his single “What If She Wants You” in 2014. Last April he issued the album “All In” and has performed both acoustic and electric versions of its songs. Even though many of the songs were written prior to the COVID pandemic, John says they have “a collective sense of love, longing, and loneliness.”
