The Ark's 25th Annual Fall Fundraiser - An Evening with May Erlewine & The Motivations will take place on Sunday, September 26, 2021. 

About The Event:

The Ark’s annual Fall Fundraiser is our second largest annual fundraiser after the Ann Arbor Folk Festival. This year we celebrate being back in person at The Ark with May Erlewine and The Motivations. An Online Silent Auction via Bidding Owl will take place, with auction lots on display at The Ark during the event, but all bidding and payment will take place online.

About the Artist:

On a few special dates each year, singer-songwriter May Erlewine breaks from her Americana and folk roots to front The Motivations: a seven-piece dance party funk band that dishes up boogie jams and classic soul cuts and features vocals, guitar, keys, bass, organ, trumpet, saxophone, drums and percussion. Expect a retro-groove dance party meant to get you moving (we’ll set aside room for dancing on the left and right sides of the stage), make you feel connected, and help you celebrate the moment. You can look forward to feel-good fun and small revolutions to shake things up, just enough.
