The elevator at The Ark is out of service while technicians make repairs. Attendees for this show will need to be able to walk up and down the stairs to the second floor of The Ark where the show takes place.
Multi-instrumentalist folk songwriter Maddy Ringo uses the framework of classic American folk storytelling to present songs of the modern technological world. At just 20 years old, she brings a contemporary edge and a mellifluous, jazzy voice to a timeless musical tradition of cultural conversation. Her latest album, People of the Earth and Sea (March 28 2025), explores vivid narratives of the complex internal world within an alienating post-industrial society, drawing on her experience as an artist raised in an urban environment.
$10 student tickets will be available at the door.
