That’s no typo! Twin brothers, San and Laz Slomovits will celebrate their 78th birthdays, and the beginning of the 54th year of their career, with a concert of songs and instrumentals from each of those decades and many others; traditional and 60s folk, pop songs from the 30s thru the 80s, instrumental tunes from the British Isles and Eastern Europe, and San and Laz’s own songs and poetry settings, accompanying themselves on guitars, violins, mandolin, pennywhistle, bones and more. They’ll be joined by San’s daughter Emily on vocals and violin, Laz’s partner Jennifer Burd on bowed psaltery, and their long-time “Good Mischief Band” members Eric Fithian on bass, and Mike Morrison on drums.

Gemini has appeared frequently at the Ark since 1974, and are especially known for their shows for children and families. However, this will be a concert for grown-ups, so leave the kids with their favorite babysitter and come celebrate with Gemini!
