Jacob Sigman is a Detroit-based singer songwriter fusing Motown, Soul, and modern R&B to evoke something that feels novel but classic. After releasing one song a month for a year, Sigman just released his latest single last Friday.  

MUSIC Matters is a student-run non-profit organization that aims to use the unifying power of music to drive social impact in our community. We are one of the largest student organizations at the University of Michigan. Our proceeds allow us to fund our three Social Ventures: The Big Thinkers Scholarship, MOvE: Michigan Overnight Experience, and The CoMMunity Partnership. These Social Ventures and our year-round events allow us to create educational opportunities and celebrate the vibrant Michigan community. Through our collective passion for music and social activism, we intend to make a tangible and positive impact on our community.
