Impossible Tour

Description

After closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and consulting with our partners, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival has decided to cancel this summer’s indoor, ticketed events. We look foward to future opportunities to partner with the Festival.

Led by classically trained string players Wil B. on viola and Kev Marcus on violin, Black Violin uses their unique blend of classical and hip-hop music to overcome stereotypes while encouraging people of all ages, races, and economic backgrounds to join together to break down cultural barriers. The group is backed by acclaimed musicians, DJ SPS and drummer Nat Stokes.

Their latest album, Take the Stairs, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Classical Chart, #1 on the Billboard Classical Crossover Chart, and #9 on the Billboard Hip Hop and R&B Chart. In addition to their many accolades, Black Violin has collaborated creatively with artists such as Kanye West, Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Wu-Tang Clan, Wyclef Jean and Alicia Keys.

At The Power Center. Co-presented with Ann Arbor Summer Festival.
