A journey to the land of the mind's eye

Description

The headliners of The Ark's annual Storytelling Festival return with a program for families.

Featuring Antonio Rocha, Anne Rutherford & Norm Brecke, and Barbara Schutzgruber, with Steve Daut, MC.

Antonio Rocha is an award-winning storyteller who has been featured across the United States and six continents. He is a two-time TEDx speaker and has developed a series of stories from folktales, pantomimes, and social justice stories based on his immigration experience.

Seasoned storytellers Anne Rutherford & Norm Brecke bring double the entertainment power! Their hearts are in the Pacific Northwest, but with their stories and music they travel the whole wide world.

Barbara Schutzgruber is an award-winning storyteller of folktales, ballads, and personal stories of resilience and has presented workshops, showcases and performance nationally, and internationally. She is co-author of the Storytelling World award-winning book "Beyond the Sword Maiden: A Storyteller's Introduction to the Heroine's Journey.”

Thanks to the Ann Arbor Storytellers Guild for helping to put the program together and for hosting the artists!

Steve Daut, president of the Ann Arbor Storytellers Guild, is MC.
