New music, here, right now

Cleveland-raised songwriter Joshua Radin got his turn in the spotlight thanks to his friendship with "Scrubs" star Zach Braff, who featured Radin's song "Winter" on the program. He made the most of his chance, with a well-reviewed debut album, "We Were Here." Since then it's been once success after another through seven more albums and, recently, a move to the Nettwerk label. Joshua's music is quiet, thoughtful, and fragile; some of his songs deal with a hard romantic breakup. Joshua comes to Michigan with a new album, "Here, Right Now." Songwriter Heather Maloney opens.
