A Michigan tradition—holiday music with an infectious global groove
Now in its 11th year, The Ragbirds are proud to present their annual Ebird & Friends Holiday Show from December 6 through 8.
Led by their lively and talented vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Erin Zindle (aka EBird), it’s a unique variety show-style performance featuring The Ragbirds and many of their amazingly talented musician friends from across the Mitten state. This year includes Joshua Davis, Joe Hertler (Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers), Luke Winslow-King, Madelyn Grant, Jen Sygit, Adam Plomaritas, the newly formed Zindles, Ross Huff, Brandon Smith (The Appleseed Collective), Tim Haldeman, Yorg Kerasiotis (Flash Clash), Brad Phillips, Brennan Duncan Andes, Jess McCumons (The Understorey), Loren Kranz (The Barbarossa Brothers), Asim Khan (Jive Colossus), Jennifer Jones, Shelly Smith, and more!!
This family-friendly concert has always been a creative twist on holiday tunes from many traditions with a wide range of genres and instruments from all over the world. Expect to hear original compositions, seasonal tunes, Christmas carols and holiday favorites turned inside out and on their ears as strings, horns, electric guitars and percussion from drum kits to bells to African drums as well as many voices join together. These songs warm our hearts and express the true joy of gathering together during the season.
All performances will be at The Ark in Ann Arbor (316 S. Main St.). Thursday, December 6 at 8pm, Friday, December 7 at 8pm, Saturday, December 8 at 3pm, and Saturday, December 8 at 8pm. The Saturday, December 8 matinee offers a discount for kids! All shows are all ages.
