Scots-Irish-Cape Breton fusion
The Outside Track plays Scots, Irish, and Cape Breton songs and step dances. They got together in Limerick, Ireland, but they come from all over the Celtic world—including Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, home of Mairi Rankin of The Rankin Family. She's been appearing with The Outside Track lately, and the rest of the band members have awards and great performance experience from all over Ireland and the British Isles. And the European continent, too—The Outside Track recently took home a German Radio Critics' prize. Their Ark debut going to be a great Celtic show to bring down the curtain on summer..
