Ann Arbor's Community High Jazz is one of the best programs of its kind anywhere. The Ark is proud to host this year's students on stage for two shows: one at 6:00 and another at 8:00. Tickets available at the door.

For Pete’s Sake – Pete Seeger Birthday Concert

The Ark 316 S. Main, Ann Arbor, MI, United States

The annual Pete Seeger Birthday Concert returns to The Ark with an all-star celebration honoring the life and work of singer, songwriter, activist, and national conscience, Pete Seeger, who passed in 2014. The evening will be filled with storytelling and singalongs in the true uplifting Seeger audience participation tradition. The lineup will feature special guest Reggie Harris, renowned folk artist and educator, who performed in the 2014 tribute to Pete and Toshi Seeger at the Lincoln Center, along with a lineup of well-known Michigan artists including Matt Watroba, Billy King, Annie & Rod Capps, San, Laz & Emily Slomovits, Judy Banker, Dani Darling, Mustard’s Retreat, and more (TBA). All proceeds from the event go to support The Ark.

There’s a Place for You in the Circle: Joe Reilly and The Community Gardeners with the All Nations Dancers

The Ark 316 S. Main, Ann Arbor, MI, United States

A free family concert by Joe Reilly and his band featuring Anishinaabe pow wow dancers from Mt. Pleasant. This family-friendly event is great for elementary-school aged kids. The event is free and open to the public with a catered lunch provided beforehand. It is sponsored by the Ann Arbor Public Schools. Pre-registration is closed, but walk-ups are welcome after 12pm until we reach capacity.

Warren & Flick

Warren & Flick crafts a sound both invitingly full and authentically transparent; captivating listeners through original material that balances familiarity with an exploratory spirit. Jacob Warren plays double bass, and Grant Flick plays violin, tenor guitar and nyckelharpa. In this concert Warren & Flick will present original compositions and arrangements that seamlessly blend together varied styles with a focus on their brand new duo album.

The RFD Boys

Please note, this is an afternoon performance! It's hard to believe, because each show is fresh and new, but the RFD Boys have been delighting Michigan audiences since 1969 with their fabulous musicianship and sly, exquisitely timed between-song humor. They're legends of Michigan bluegrass, but they're more than that too. With an appearance on the cover of Bluegrass Unlimited, with songs recorded by the likes of the Country Gentlemen, and with performances alongside bluegrass greats like Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley, the RFD Boys are a part of America's bluegrass tradition.

Rev. Robert B. Jones, Sr.

The elevator at The Ark is out of service while technicians make repairs. Attendees for this show will need to be able to walk up and down the stairs to the second floor of The Ark where the show takes place. Rev. Robert Jones, Sr. has been a professional musician for more than forty years. The legendary blues man, Willie Dixon encouraged him to bring his music into schools over 35 years ago, and The National Blues Foundation recognized his work as a leading blues educator in 2007. This is a special night. In addition to the concert Rev. Robert Jones will be presented with the 2025 Michigan Heritage Award, Michigan State University.

Out Loud Chorus is the largest mixed-voice LGBTQ+ choir in North America, and the only arts organization dedicated to the entire LGBTQ+ community in Washtenaw County.
