SUMMARY:Noah Reid
DESCRIPTION:Noah Reid has earned a permanent place in the music industry as a result of his powerful vocals and honest delivery. Evident on his debut album Songs from a Broken Chair (2016) and sophomore album Gemini (2020)\, which collectively have garnered nearly 145 million streams\, two nominations at the 2022 Canadian Folk Music Awards in the ‘Songwriter of the Year’ and ‘New/Emerging Artist of the Year’ categories and landed Noah on four Billboard charts. Reid’s songwriting style is reminiscent of singer-songwriters of the seventies but with a contemporary twist\, resulting in a signature polished\, albeit slightly rusted over\, tone. Reid’s highly-anticipated\, third record Adjustments was released on June 24\, 2022.  \nAs an actor\, Reid is best known for playing ‘Patrick’ in the Emmy-winning comedy series Schitt’s Creek\, for which he won a Screen Actors Guild Award\, along with the cast\, for ‘Best Ensemble.’ He can currently be seen in Brian Watkins’ Amazon series Outer Range opposite Josh Brolin\, Imogen Poots and Lewis Pullman and on Broadway as the lead of Tracy Letts’ Tony-nominated play The Minutes.

SUMMARY:Pure Prairie League
DESCRIPTION:Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone.  This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nFrom their beginnings in mid-Sixties Ohio as a group of friends playing cover tunes to the present-day unit featuring the propulsive team of drummer Scott Thompson and bassist Jared Camic\, Keyboard Master Randy Harper\, Guitar Ace/vocalist Jeff Zona and Pedal Steel/Saxophonist John Heinrich\, PURE PRAIRIE LEAGUE continues to embellish the rich 50-plus year history of one of Country-Rock’s pioneering forces. As one reviewer recently wrote: “PPL’s sound combines sweet memories with edgy\, contemporary muscle. Their vocals are as strong as Kentucky moonshine and the musicianship and performance skills are as sharp as a straight razor”.  \nTheir eponymous first album – featuring the Norman Rockwell/Saturday Evening Post cover that introduced fans to PPL’s trademark cowpoke “Sad Luke” – has been hailed as a “major early influence in the emerging popularity of Country-Rock music”. Their second effort\, the multi-platinum “Bustin’ Out” brought us the Craig Fuller-penned classic “Amie”\, along with other gems of the genre. With “Two Lane Highway”\, nine more albums and countless shows\, a legacy has been forged and enriched\, highlighting contributions from several noteworthy members\, including original co-founder George Ed Powell\, Cincinnati’s legendary Goshorn Brothers\, Country Hall of Famers Gary Burr and Vince Gill\, award-winning writer Jeff Wilson (3 Top-20 singles)\, top Nashville session vocalist Curtis Wright and a host of other guest appearances from Chet Atkins\, Johnny Gimble\, EmmyLou Harris\, David Sanborn\, Eagle Don Felder\, Nicolette Larson\, Rosemary Butler\, Jenifer Wrinkle\, Jeff (Birdman) Kirk\, Mat Britain and many more. \nNow in their sixth decade\, Pure Prairie League continues to lead the way for the new generation of Country/Rockers such as Keith Urban\, Nickel Creek\, Wilco\, Counting Crows and so many others that cite PPL as a major influence.  \nNow\, with the release of their new album “Back On Track” PPL brings it all back home with a dozen new songs that complete the circle begun in 1970 and continues to this day.

DESCRIPTION:Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone.  This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nHey Everyone!!! I have a new song\, “You Won’t Dig My Grave”\, out now. It’s the opening track on my upcoming album\, ‘I Believe in You\, My Honeydew’\, which is out 9/12. I’m really\, really excited about this record. \nAs you can imagine\, the Royal City Band and I are really looking forward to hitting the road this November\, playing a bunch of these new songs\, and a load of other things as well. \nWhen a bunch of people partake in music together\, the bonds of the material world fray and we can sometimes hear other voices more clearly. Certainly\, that’s why I play at all. It is a magical experience and that door stands open to all of us. Come and be a part. \n– Josh Ritter

SUMMARY:Rachael & Vilray
DESCRIPTION:Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone.  This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nSince their formation in 2015\, Brooklyn-based duo Rachael & Vilray have achieved a certain timeless quality with their singular take on traditional pop. Though rooted in the language of an earlier age\, their songs transcend nostalgia with wit and a flair for the theatrical. On their third album West of Broadway\, vocalist Rachael Price (also of Lake Street Dive) and guitarist/singer/songwriter Vilray evolve their music’s previous dreaminess to achieve a refreshing angularity built on left-of-center instrumentation (e.g.\, vibraphone and alto saxophone coasting above the moody strains of baritone sax and trombone). Produced by Dan Knobler (Allison Russell\, Bahamas)\, West of Broadway unfolds in a series of sharply drawn vignettes inspired by a recent fascination with classic musicals—bringing their luminous vocals to offbeat tales of love and heartache along city streets. \n Recorded at the legendary Sear Sound in Manhattan\, West of Broadway took shape with the help of renowned musicians like saxophonist Steve Wilson (a former member of Chick Corea’s Origin sextet) and drummer John Riley (Miles Davis\, Dizzy Gillespie). Over the course of 10 lush and effervescent tracks\, the album delivers standouts like “Love Comes Around” (a joyously romantic piece that set the direction for the LP’s West Coast jazz-inspired aesthetic)\, “My Key to Gramercy Park” (a fantastically salty number narrated by a well-to-do character who lives in lonely suspicion of all those who covet their key to the notoriously exclusive private park)\, and “Off Broadway” (on which golden-voiced comedian Stephen Colbert joins in for what the duo dubs an “oddly grumpy anti-Broadway screed”). Thanks in large part to the colorful detail and extravagant personality of Rachael & Vilray’s storytelling\, West of Broadway ultimately immerses the audience in an exquisitely out-of-time vision of their beloved New York City. \nTonight’s show is sponsored by Blue LLama with support from media sponsors WEMU and ann arbor’s 107one

SUMMARY:Mon Rovîa
DESCRIPTION:“I’m Mon\, born in Mon Rovia\, Liberia. My life can be summed up by being born into a civil war\, escaping the life of a child soldier\, rescued by the hands of missionaries. Spent a lot of my developmental years living in a variety of places with a number of life experiences. And then layered on top of all of this is the assimilation I felt being a transracially adopted refugee. My music in a nutshell is a culmination of these experiences blended with the empathy I feel for the experiences with others. The mission of my music is to heal with others – with every nation and tongue\, in due time.” \nMon Rovîa has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 per ticket goes to supporting Hurricane Helene relief in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of TN. Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to building and improving homes for families in need. As a local affiliate\, Habitat for Humanity of Tennessee is actively responding to the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. While immediate emergency response is ongoing\, Habitat for Humanity’s primary role will be in the long-term recovery of disaster-stricken communities.

SUMMARY:The Verve Pipe
DESCRIPTION:Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone.  This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nWith a reputation for spectacular live performances\, the genesis of multi-platinum artist The Verve Pipe can be traced back to the early 90s when the principal members of two rival Michigan bands joined forces. After releasing two independent albums\, I’ve Suffered A Head Injury and Pop Smear\, the group quickly garnered a regional following for its textured rock songs distinguished by innovative arrangements\, soul-searching lyrics and layered vocals. \nThe success of both albums attracted the attention of RCA Records\, which released their platinum major label debut Villains in 1996. The album featured the radio hit ‘Photograph’ and the #1 single ‘The Freshmen\,’ one of the most successful multi-format tracks of 1997 and winner of an ASCAP Pop Award. Their follow-up release\, the critically acclaimed self-titled LP The Verve Pipe\, featured ‘Hero\,’ a Top 15 hit at Modern Rock radio. \nIn 2001\, RCA released Underneath\, which produced the singles ‘Happiness Is’ and ‘Never Let You Down\,’ one of the most played songs for Adult Top 40 and Modern A/C radio that year. The album also included ‘Colorful\,’ the emotive ballad featured in the film and soundtrack Rock Star\, starring Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston and also co-starring lead singer Brian Vander Ark in his first major film role. \nIn addition to their success on radio\, TV and film\, sold-out concert dates throughout the U.S.\, Canada\, Europe and Australia\, features in Spin and Rolling Stone and videos on MTV and VH1\, the band have made numerous television appearances\, including ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno’ and ‘Late Night With David Letterman.’ \nAfter an eight year hiatus\, The Verve Pipe were approached to submit an original song for a compilation album of children’s music. That session inspired A Family Album\, their critically acclaimed introduction to the world of children’s music\, as well as their follow up release\, Are We There Yet? Both albums contain music intended for the entire family\, with fun and inventive lyrics set to the memorable melodies the band is known for. \nIn 2014\, The Verve Pipe released their first rock album in over 13 years with Overboard\, a collection of ten new songs including ‘Crash Landing’\, ‘Hit and Run\,’ and the haunting title track ‘Overboard.’ This long incubating project brought a renewed energy and focus to this self-produced album that resulted in their most inspired writing and recording to date.\n\nThe Verve Pipe continue to tour\, performing both rock and kids shows throughout the U.S.\, including special appearances at Lollapalooza\, Austin City Limits Festival\, Hangout Music Festival\, Summer Stage in Central Park\, and many more.

SUMMARY:Judy Collins
DESCRIPTION:Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone.  This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nJudy Collins has long inspired audiences with sublime vocals\, boldly vulnerable songwriting\, personal life triumphs\, and a firm commitment to social activism. In the 1960s\, she evoked both the idealism and steely determination of a generation united against social and environmental injustices. Five decades later\, her luminescent presence shines brightly as new generations bask in the glow of her iconic 55-album body of work\, and heed inspiration from her spiritual discipline to thrive in the music industry for half a century. \nThe award-winning singer-songwriter is esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original compositions. Her stunning rendition of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” from her landmark 1967 album\, Wildflowers\, has been entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Recently\, contemporary and classic artists such as Rufus Wainwright\, Shawn Colvin\, Dolly Parton\, Joan Baez\, and Leonard Cohen honored her legacy with the album Born to the Breed: A Tribute to Judy Collins. \nThe cultural treasure’s 55th album\, Spellbound\, was released in February 2022\, finds Judy enjoying an artistic renaissance. The 13 song album is a special entry in her oeuvre. It marks the first time ever she wrote all the songs on one of her albums. It features 12 new recently-written modern folk songs\, and a bonus track of her evergreen\, “The Blizzard.” Spellbound is an introspective and impressionistic album. It unfolds as if Judy curated a museum exhibit of her life\, and welcomed us into a retrospective of her most formative moments\, some big and public\, and some intensely personal and intimate.  Spellbound was nominated in the Best Folk Album category at the 65th Recording Academy Grammy Awards in 2023.

Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nShawn Colvin stopped the industry in its tracks with her arresting 1989 debut\, Steady On. The following spring\, Colvin took home the GRAMMY Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album\, establishing herself as a mainstay in the singer-songwriter genre. In the ensuing 30 years\, Colvin has won three GRAMMY Awards\, released thirteen superlative albums\, written a critically acclaimed memoir\, maintained a non-stop national and international touring schedule\, appeared on countless television and radio programs\, had her songs featured in major motion pictures and created a remarkable canon of work. \nColvin was recently honored with an induction into the 2019 Austin City Limits Hall of Fame\, alongside legendary artists Lyle Lovett and Buddy Guy. In a moving induction speech\, Jackson Browne praised her as “ineffable” — ‘that which is impossible to express in words’ — and extolled\, “Not many writers are able to do what Shawn does. It’s a very special way of relating what really matters. It takes an original to get our attention. Shawn is utterly original in her singing\, and original in what she speaks about in her songs.” \nOver the course of three decades\, Shawn Colvin has established herself as a captivating performer and a revered storyteller\, well-deserving of the commendation of her peers and the devoted audiences who have been inspired by her artistry. And as she enters her third decade as a songwriter and performer\, she continues to reaffirm her status as a vital voice in music. \nPlease note early start time of 7:30!

Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \n“It’s a highway\, filled with deep\, exotic colors and beautiful delicate things as well as the perils that come from moving so fast\,” says Dar Williams\, describing modern life. On her 13th album\, Hummingbird Highway\, out September 12 on Righteous Babe Records\, Williams celebrates the colors she glimpses from her vantage as a touring musician. “I was a kid from the suburbs who listened when her hippie teachers said to get out in the world\,” Williams muses. Hummingbird Highway is the latest chapter in a richly unfolding story. Drawing on her experience as a playwright\, Williams populates her latest album with nuanced characters that come alive in the space of a few minutes.

SUMMARY:Cowboy Junkies - Live on Tour 2026
DESCRIPTION:“Margo Timmins’s voice is as melancholy and enchanting as ever” –The New York Times \n“There’s something that is nearly miraculous about the way Margo Timmins’ beautiful voice fits with those pained lyrics written by her brother Michael Timmins…the result is some truly transformative music.” –The Mercury News \nCowboy Junkies will be performing a career-spanning show from The Trinity Session to their recent album\, Such Ferocious Beauty! \nAbout Cowboy Junkies \nSometimes revolutions begin quietly. \nIn 1988\, Cowboy Junkies proved that there was an audience waiting for something quiet\, beautiful and reflective. The Trinity Session was like a whisper that cut through the noise — and it was compelling. It stood out in the midst of the flash and bombast that came to define the late 80’s. The now classic recording combined folk\, blues and rock in a way that had never been heard before and went on to sell more than a million copies.  \nFormed in Toronto in 1985 with siblings Michael Timmins on guitar\, Margo Timmins on vocals\, Peter Timmins on drums\, and Michael’s lifelong friend Alan Anton on bass\, the band has sparkled over the course of 29 albums. “I’ve known Alan longer than I’ve known Pete\,” says Michael. “We were friends before Pete was born.” \nUnlike most long-lasting groups\, Cowboy Junkies have never had a break up or taken a sanity-saving hiatus. There’s an appreciation of each other that keeps them constantly working. “It’s that intimacy and understanding of what each one of us brings to the table\,” says Michael.

DESCRIPTION:Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone.  This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nFrom a small-town minivan to sold-out theaters\, Girl Named Tom’s rise has been nothing short of remarkable. Siblings Bekah\, Caleb\, and Joshua Liechty grew up making music together but officially formed their band in 2019\, hitting the road with a self-funded tour and their debut EP\, Another World. Their tight harmonies and heartfelt songwriting captivated audiences\, leading them to make history as the first group to win The Voice.  \nSince then\, the trio has sold over 100\,000 tickets across 40 states\, headlined nationwide tours\, and performed at the Grand Ole Opry\, the Indianapolis 500\, and on The Ellen Show. They’ve shared the stage with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra\, Kelsea Ballerini\, Lady A\, and Pentatonix\, but their signature sound remains unmistakably their own—fusing folk\, pop\, and sibling magic to create music that moves the soul.  \nIn April 2026\, Girl Named Tom will hit the road on a nationwide tour promoting their new album\, Dust to Dust. The momentum will keep rolling with a performance on NBC’s The Voice in early April\, alongside an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show shortly thereafter.

With the band\, he sold over 15 Million albums and scored multiple Junos\, Billboard Music Awards\, SOCAN awards\, Gemini Awards and two Grammy nominations. After leaving the band in 2009\, Steven embarked on a solo career that has produced five solo albums\, including 2022’s Excelsior\, and has seen him tour worldwide\, from folk festivals to cabarets and theatres\, all the way to packed arenas on a string of dates opening for rock legends The Who. \nSteven performs in many configurations\, but\, since 2016\, has been playing most often with his pals in The Steven Page Trio\, Craig Northey of Vancouver legends Odds on guitar\, and Kevin Fox on cello. With SP3\, Steven has performed arrangements of some of his best-loved songs from his long career with symphony orchestras including the Vancouver and Winnipeg Symphony Orchestras.  \nSteven is a frequent collaborator with Toronto’s eclectic Art of Time Ensemble\, is a member of power-pop quartet\, The Trans-Canada Highwaymen\, has a Stratford commissioned musical in the works\, and continues to work in film\, television and other media. The Governor-General’s Performing Arts Awards asked Steven to write a song as a surprise tribute to his friend\, Ryan Reynolds\, and the result was “Canada Loves You Back\,” a song as poignant\, humorous and Canadian as the actor it honors.
