DESCRIPTION:Make Music Ann Arbor is a live\, free musical celebration taking place June 21 every year—the longest day of the year. Cities across the world celebrate with concerts by professional and amateur musicians. \nOut Loud Chorus is the largest mixed-voice LGBTQ+ choir in North America\, and the only arts organization dedicated to the entire LGBTQ+ community in Washtenaw County. We bring together people of all genders\, sexualities\, and backgrounds to make beautiful music and connect through this shared joy. But at its core\, OLC is about more than just making music–we’re working to create a world where every voice is heard.   \nOLC is fun and flexible\, open to many levels of ability and committed to embodying the diversity of our community.  In addition\, the chorus seeks to educate the general public about choral music and\, through performances\, to reduce bigotry and discrimination against our community.
