Summer Sounds at the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair

We are excited to once again partner with the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair to bring live music each evening of the art fairs to the Stage on Main at the corner of Main and William in the Palio lot.  Stop by and join one of our favorite street parties of the year!

Thursday, July 20

6pm: Natalie Mae

NATALIE MAE is a Michigan-born, New Orleans-based folk singer/songwriter, whose songs are crafted with a combination of her folk upbringing and her beloved Big Easy home. Her originals are written and played on guitar, banjo, piano, and blend intricate melodies with relatable lyrics that connect and warm the heart. She plays often with various projects in New Orleans, most popularly the indie-folk-pop duo The RamBull Rompers (www.rambullrompers.com) with drummer and singer/songwriter Rose Cangelosi, and most recently as keyboardist for dance band Fantasy NonFiction. With 3 full-length albums under her belt, Natalie Mae has much to share and more to come, and can be heard throughout the greater Gulf Coast and Midwest when the season beckons her to cooler winds.

7:30pm: Sons of the Never Wrong

SONS OF THE NEVER WRONG is a turbo-charged Altfolk trio from Chicago that delivers witty, whimsical songs with their signature soaring vocal harmonies and gorgeous arrangements. In case you’re wondering, they’re 2 gals and a fella: Bruce Roper, Sue Demel and Deborah Lader. Their odd ball humor and spontaneous stories ignite their live shows and have earned them a cult-like international following for over 30 years. Combining influences of folk, jazz, pop and rock, their sound is wildly original, their energy is contagious and their banter is hilarious.
