ANN ARBOR, Mich., January 24, 2022 – Acoustic Routes and The Ark are pleased to announce that the Feb. 11 performance of Lucinda Williams & Her Band at The Michigan Theater has been rescheduled to Friday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Ticketmaster will automatically transfer all tickets to the new date. Fans who can’t make the new date should log-in to their Ticketmaster account for information on resale, transfer and other options.
“We look forward to a great night of music and making a difference in the fight against hunger in our community,” said Jim Cain of Acoustic Routes. “We appreciate the support of all of Lu’s fans and their patience as we worked to reschedule the show.”
The performance by Lucinda Williams and Her Band will mark the 12th time Acoustic Routes and The Ark, one of the nation’s most celebrated live music venues, have worked together to raise money for the Breakfast Program. Founded during the summer of 1982, the Ann Arbor-based non-profit has served a free meal to anyone in need without missing a single day, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the course of fourteen remarkable albums, three Grammy awards, and countless accolades, including Time’s Songwriter of the Year of 2001, Williams has become one of our most revered artists, beloved for her singular vocals and extraordinary songs.
Her latest Grammy-nominated release, “Good Souls, Better Angels,” has electrified critics and fans. American Songwriter wrote, “Take a deep breath, strap in then push play on what is undoubtedly one of the most searing, potent and passionate albums you’ll hear this year.”
