Songwriter Gavin DeGraw hit it big in 2003 with the single “I Don’t Want to Be,” from his debut album, “Chariot.” That song went on to become the theme for WB television’s One Tree Hill and put DeGraw in the spotlight. But Gavin has never rested on his laurels. He’s released six albums, each of which with songs that have made a strong impact, and his 2013 duet with Colbie Callat, “We Both Know,” was heard in the film Safe Haven and earned a Grammy nomination. Gavin’s most recent album, “Something Worth Saving,” was an upbeat concoction with pop, soul, and funk elements. He comes to Michigan with new music on the way.
