Chris DuPont (Michigan singer/songwriter) and Frances Luke Accord (Chicago folk harmony duo) are finally reuniting on stage for a double bill at the Ark. The two acts have toured extensively together, and have become more like family than mere collaborators. This will be their first time on a Michigan stage together since 2019, and they can’t imagine this homecoming being on any other stage than The Ark. Both acts will feature guest musicians that are Michigan legends in their own right, including violinist Katie Van Dusen, fiddler/mandolinist Brad Phillips, and guest vocals from Kylee Phillips. This will be an unforgettable night of melodic modern folk music.
Frances Luke Accord will be celebrating their brand new LP “Safe in Sound,” released in partnership with Tonetree Music.
Chris will be living in the songs from his recent album “Floodplains,” along with plenty of old favorites and new song debuts.
