Description

Based in Kansas City, Making Movies makes music influenced by rock, cumbia, psychedelia, American roots styles, son cubano, and spoken word. They recently released their third album, "I Am Another You,"  which explores identity and immigration, and has been featured on various Spotify playlists and has appeared on three Billboard charts: Latin Pop Album Sales, Latin Album Sales, and World Albums. Making Movies consists of two sets of brothers, Enrique Chi (vocals/guitar) and Diego Chi (bass/vocals), and Juan-Carlos Chaurand (percussion/keys) and Andres Chaurand (drums). NPR's Alt.Latino broadcast and podcast listed "I Am Another You" among their favorite music of 2017 (so far).
