New Americana songwriting from Michigan
Lizzy Shell is a newcomer to Michigan’s music scene. This singer-songwriter has roots in Ypsilanti, grew up in Tempe, Arizona, and came back to Michigan and recently released her debut album, "Seed." Young though she may be, Lizzy has been through a long journey in which songwriting and music played a healing role. Her music has elements of Americana and classic folk, and she says she likes Paul Simon, The Avett Brothers, Feist, Dinah Washington, Justin Vernon, and Rich Mullins.
