"Music Row songwriting doesn't get any better."
Brandy Clark and Charlie Worsham are the cream of the crop among young Nashville songwriters right now. Even before the release of her hit album "Big Day in a Small Town" (with her Valentine-ready hit "Love Can Go to Hell"), you've heard Brandy's songs as recorded by Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, and Kacey Musgraves. Brandy has been featured on Rolling Stone Country Sessions, and she's already earned six Grammy nominations. Newcomer Charlie Worsham comes to The Ark just days before the release of his debut album, "Beginning of Things," on April 21. We think it will be! Last month, the gifted songwriter and guitarist also raised his voice in opposition to a bill that would have in part abolished the Mississippi Arts Commission in his home state. The bill was voted down in committee. If you're interested in where Music Row songwriting is going, we've got you covered with this show!
