How To Purchase Tickets

Tickets to Ark produced shows at other venues (e.g. Michigan Theater) are available only through Ticketmaster or in person and by phone through the Michigan Union Ticket Office at 734-763-8587. Service fees vary.
There are several ways you can buy advance tickets for shows at The Ark. Most seats are general admission with 70 reserved seats available through the Michigan Union Ticket Office or Ticketmaster for $7 over the standard ticket price. A limited number of priority seats are also available to our members at the Producer ($500) Level and above. For more information on membership and the corresponding benefits, click here.
Most Ark shows go on sale to the public on Saturdays starting at 9 a.m. through the Michigan Union Ticket Office and at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. A listing of all new events going on sale a given weekend is included in The Ark's email newsletter which is sent out each Thursday. To subscribe to the newsletter, click here.
Tickets to Ark shows go off sale at 3 p.m. the day of the show for shows Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday shows go off sale at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Remaining tickets once a show is off sale will be available for purchase at The Ark box office starting one half hour before showtime.

Michigan Union Ticket Office is located on the ground floor of the University of Michigan Union, 530 S. State St. at South University. Hours (April - August) are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturdays, closed on Sundays. Hours (September - March) are 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturdays, closed on Sundays. There is a $1 service charge per ticket for Ark shows that take place at The Ark if purchased in person.
The Ark Box Office is located inside the club at 316 S. Main St. in downtown Ann Arbor. The box office opens at 7:30 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday to sell general admission tickets for the night's show. General admission tickets for future shows are available beginning at 8:00 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and 7:30 p.m. until 8:45 p.m. on Sunday any night that we are open for a show. No service charge. Tickets for Ark produced shows at other venues (i.e. Michigan Theater) are not available at The Ark's box office. Please contact the Michigan Union Ticket Office or Ticketmaster for tickets for these occasional outside events.
Herb David Guitar Studio is located at 302 E. Liberty St. at Fifth Ave., across Fifth Ave. from the post office in downtown Ann Arbor. Hours are 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday. Phone is (734) 665-8001. Service charge is $2.00. General admission tickets only. Cash or check only. Tickets for Ark produced shows at other venues (i.e. Michigan Theater) are not available at Herb David's. Please contact the Michigan Union Ticket Office or Ticketmaster for tickets for these occasional outside events.

There is a $2 per ticket service charge for Ark produced shows that take place at The Ark + an optional $1 mailing charge for phone orders. Or call TicketMaster at (800) 745-3000. Service fees vary.

Tickets are available online through TicketMaster. Once you're there, enter the word "Ark" in the search box. TicketMaster charges a varying service fee for every ticket.
HOW TO PURCHASE RESERVED SEATS
For most Ark shows, 70 reserved seats are available through the Michigan Union Ticket office or TicketMaster, for a $7 surcharge over the regular ticket price. If you do not have reserved seats, seating is general admission. Both advance ticket holders and concertgoers buying tickets at the box office line up on the sidewalk on Main St. until doors open 1/2 hour before showtime. (For popular shows, some concertgoers arrive as early as one and a half hours in advance.) When doors open, ticket holders may pass the box office and proceed directly through the door at the right and up the stairs.

- Make sure there's a clear path for people walking down the street.
- Please put trash and cigarette butts in the appropriate containers.
