"Slide burrow deep beneath tunes, propelled by the finesse of bouzouki, flute, concertina, and fiddle," says the Irish Times. They've been called traditional musicians with attitude, and their music, which includes a generous helping of original tunes, has both grace and power. Slide has broadened its reach on its Irish home soil, more or less by popular demand, since coming together in the pubs of Cork during a 1999 music festival, and they're familiar faces in Celtic scenes across the European continent and increasingly in America. With the addition of new lead vocalist Andrew Murray, Slide are looking forward to revealing the latest chapter of one of the most interesting Irish traditional bands of modern times.
