"Summer reading--with soundtrack!"

The Ann Arbor District Library kicks off its summer reading program at the Ark, and musicians are always on hand to help out. Each year the library staff identifies books for all ages to share, and they organize a musical party to get things rolling. This year's guest is Parents' Choice Award winner Billy Jonas, who is well known to Ann Arbor area artists of all ages. A Billy Jonas concert is an explosion of energy! In singalongs, bangalongs, whisperalongs, and songs improvised from scratch, his primary instrument is the audience. Everyone becomes part of a performance that reaches out and ". . . touches even the most hardened of hearts," says the Fayetteville Morning News.
