"'These folks are going places!'--Jay Ungar"
Andrew and Noah VanNorstrand, teen brothers from Syracuse, New York, have already managed to carve themselves a unique niche. It's difficult to pinpoint all of the musical ingredients Andrew and Noah use in their original material. Their music is a finely crafted blend of genres including Celtic, Appalachian, swing, old-time country, bluegrass, and traditional Scandinavian music, with equal emphasis on daring improvisation and intricate arrangements. Both brothers play the fiddle as well as a host of other Instruments -- nearly 20 string and percussion instruments in all. Add in tight harmony vocals and great original songwriting, and you can see that this teenage brother duet offers the whole package! It's no wonder that they've been touring with one of folk music's great duos, Jay Ungar and Molly Mason. Tonight's show is free! Why not take a chance?
