"Folk-reggae songwriter sounds for summer"
"The summery, acoustic sound of singer-songwriter Trevor Hall," says MacKenzie Wilson of the All Music Guide, "puts him alongside Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, and John Mayer." This South Carolina native has been writing songs since he was 14 and was signed to the Geffen label at 20. He has cited Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Ben Harper and Björk as influences, and his easy blend of reggae, folk, and roots-rock sounds is uplifting and wise beyond its performer's years. Trevor recently toured with Matisyahu and has spent time in India, a place that deeply influenced his values and music-making.
Opening this evening's show is Todd Carey.
