"'Indie rock for music fans who still hold their parents' hands'--New York Times"
Ralph's World is a wondrous musical universe created by Chicago's Ralph Covert. He was (and still is) the leader of a rock band called the Bad Examples, and he was disappointed in the sleepy strumming and syrupy singing that all too often passes for family music. Then one day, while he was at a class called Wiggleworms, inspiration struck. The result has been eight Ralph's World albums, and counting--the latest is "The Rhyming Circus" featuring "Edward the Tap Dancing Elephant," "Folsom Daycare Blues," and other classics for the short set. Now Ralph has a legion of two-to-eight-year-old fans who, Ralph says, recognize the good stuff and reflexively answer the call to rock out when they hear it. Finally, a musician superhero for parents bent on banishing bad music, at least in their own households.
