"Two songwriters: a world wanderer and a fresh Michigan voice"
Randall Williams graduated at the top of his class as a classical baritone at the University of Mons, Belgium. But since then he's basically lived on the road--on a sailboat in the North Sea, hitching across the Sahara, and now in a van in North America, where he writes songs of love, social commentary, and tale-telling. He's also a superb guitarist who has written two books and recorded an instructional DVD. More rooted but no less intriguing is Jen Cass, raised by folkie parents in Detroit's suburbs and now blooming where she's planted in Bay City. With a recent appearance at Detroit's Downtown Hoedown and recordings helmed by Mary Chapin Carpenter producer John Jennings, she's a fresh new country-folk voice. Jen's original songs have drawn comparisons to Carpenter and to Lucinda Williams. The winner of several major songwriting contests, Jen is coming to town with new music!
