"'Beautiful. Timeless. Wrenching.'--Columbus Dispatch"
The Gibson Brothers are a bluegrass duo from Ellenburg Depot, New York, in the hardscrabble lands along the Quebec border. Their title of their new album, "Iron & Diamonds," refers to the area's twin heritage of iron mining and local semipro baseball. The Gibsons fit perfectly into the great tradition of brother duets, but they have a sound all their own, with sharp, often deeply moving original songwriting and strong, ringing harmonies. They've been a huge hit in their last two Ark appearances, opening for Phillips, Grier & Flinner and the John Cowan Band, and we're excited to bring them in for a full evening of their own.
