The bluegrass blue-eyed soul man returns! John Cowan first became known to Ark audiences as the awesomely powerful lead vocalist in New Grass Revival, the groundbreaking progressive bluegrass band of the 1970s and 1980s. Since New Grass Revival broke up, he's toured with Leftover Salmon, Drew Emmitt, and Vassar Clements, recorded rock and soul, and jammed onstage with Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Chris Thile of Nickel Creek, Peter Rowan and a host of others. John Cowan's tenor may be the greatest pure vocal talent in American roots music, and he's got a stack of new songs and an incredible group of newgrass players backing him up.
