"Something new from the Chenilles!"
The Chenille Sisters are Ann Arbor's girl-group gift to the world, and quite a few female-vocal trios have come along in their wake. Now the Chenilles are setting the pace again with a great new partnership. The Chenille Sisters and the Royal Garden Trio are a match made in heaven. Both groups have a deep love for 1930s and 1940s jazz, and they've put their talents together into a lush and rich collaboration. The members of the Royal Garden Trio have played traditional jazz for years, together and separately. The gypsy jazz sounds of their instruments blend with the signature dead-on harmonies of the Chenilles in a mix that seems fresh and nostalgic at the same time. A evening of period musical charm is guaranteed!
