The Ark is proud to honor its longtime program director, Dave Siglin, with a series of in-the-round concerts on the occasion of his retirement. Friends of The Ark and some of Dave's own favorite performers will be coming to town for Dave's four-night Farewell Fling, and you can join in the festivities and experience a unique milestone in folk and acoustic music. Thursday night's concert features some of the contemporary singer-songwriters whom Dave has helped turn into Ark (and national) favorites over the years, including songwriting-revival pioneer John Gorka, transcendent blues songwriter Chris Smither, eclectic singer and pianist Susan Werner, and New England icon Cheryl Wheeler. Come prepared for one of the great parties in folk music history as we send Dave off in style!
